So Hasbro is offering fans of the Star Wars toy line the chance to grab their very own Boba Fett Prototype Armor figure as part of a free mail-away. Although ''free'' in this case involves collecting codes from five other purchases and then sending a cheque to cover postage. And in return you'll get a white-painted take on the famous bounty hunter.
All well and good, except for $6.99 (plus shipping) you could get this infinitely cooler R2-D2 and C-3PO double figure set from Big Bad Toy Store.
Featuring a much more functional take on R2-D2 and a Metropolis-inspired, Art Deco C-3PO these figures are based on the early concept sketches produced by Ralph McQuarrie in the pre-visualisation period of Star Wars' development, which I personally always thought looked so much cooler than what we ended-up with...
Me encanta esta serie de figuras de McQuarrie!!! Igual que sus dibujos.
