We brought you the news yesterday that GI Joe collectors who'd missed-out on the excellent Renegades Storm Shadow figure would be getting a second chance to get their hands on him as part of an Amazon-exclusive four-figure pack, featuring a variant version of the elusive Cobra Ninja. And although we had a feeling this set would be popular with fans - even if this version of Storm Shadow doesn't include the full arsenal of the single carded release - I doubt anybody could have predicted that Amazon's entire stock would be sold out in less than a day.
There's no word yet as to whether there'll be a restock (Amazon lists the set as ''Currently Unavailable - We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock'') but here's hoping this is just a temporary hiccup and the set will be available again soon.
We'll bring you more when we have it.
They're back in stock. I'm very tempted to get that Renegades set.

DeleteWell, I did it. I ordered the Renegades pack. I'm a little mad at myself for spending the $40 (especially when I try to only spend $50 a month on toys and I plan on getting both Stinkor and Slush Head), but I trust once my future self get the figures in-hand he will forgive me.
DeleteThe one thing I always do - and even my wife reminds me of this should we be in the situation - is to buy stuff when I see it, as there are so many times I've passed on something and then been unable to get it later. I'm sure you've had the same experience many times, too, so even though you may have gone over budget this month at least you won't be paying $250 later down the line for the same pack (and yes, somebody is actually selling the Renegades four-pack for that ludicrous price!)
