Those people who do the Ren Fest wrong by turning up dressed in buccaneer's attire will be pleased to learn NBC is developing a new pirate-themed TV show, Crossbones.

REVIEW: Captain America: The First Avenger Comic Packs - Captain America and Crossbones
Produced by Hasbro | Released July 2011
As mind-controlled citizens riot in the streets outside, CAPTAIN AMERICA aces off against CROSSBONES and four other powerful servants of RED SKULL. The star-spangled superhero is badly outmatched and he knows it, but these villains aren't prepared for the surprising skills of this new CAPTAIN AMERICA.

NEWS: Captain America - Crossbones Comicbook Pack
If (like me) you're having difficulty finding the single carded Captain America: The First Avengers Crossbones figure then you may be interested in the upcoming double-pack that sees the Star-Spangled Supersoldier facing off against his skull-faced nemesis.
Toyark has a series of images and some extra info on this upcoming release, which you can check-out here.
No word yet on the release date but we'll keep you posted.

NEWS: Captain America: The First Avenger - Crossbones Review at Atomic Martians
We've already seen the Captain America: The First Avengers Captain America Battlefield figure. Whilst the sculpt looked good, the overall production quality and cheap-feel to the toy really let it down and cast some serious doubts in my mind as to whether I wanted to pick-up any of the other figures.
Jason at Atomic Martians got his hands on one of the other figures that had previously piqued my interest - Crossbones - and has put together this video Review of the toy.
