NEWS: OAFE's SDCC-Exclusive Minimates Battle Beast Review

Although I missed out on Battle Beasts first time around and I'm not a Minimates collector, I have to admit that the upcoming fusion of the two has my interest piqued - more so now I've seen OEFA's review of the San Diego Comic Con-exclusive Vorin and Zik double-pack. Check it out for yourself:

NEWS: SDCC-Exclusive Kim Arashikage Gallery

Con-exclusives are normally something I've been quite happy to live without. I know I'm never going to get my hands on them the second they're announced, so I've never even bothered pursuing them. But I have to admit that the recent SDCC-exclusive GI Joe Kim Arashikage was a figure I'd have liked in my collection. And now the gallery at A Real American Hero has done little to change my mind on the matter.

Sometimes I hate the Internet.

NEWS: SDCC Battle Beasts Minimates Gallery

Battle Beasts was never a line of toys I was in to (when they came out, I was ''too old'' to collect them) but I have to admit that I was curious to see how Diamond Select's new line of Minimates Battle Beasts would work out.

Whilst Phillip at Battlegrip isn't a fan, as somebody who's not massively familiar with the originals I was pleasantly surprised at how cool they looked and just how much additional work the Art Asylum had put into  making them more than simply ''Minimates with animal heads.''

Judge for yourself at 16bit's gallery and be sure to check your local Toys R Us over the coming months.
