REVIEW: Onell Design's Glyos Founder Series

The Glyos System is a range of 2.75 inch figures available exclusively online from their designers/creators/producers, Onell Design

Onell Design has been producing and selling Glyos figures from their official site since 2007 and over the last three years the line has grown to include new characters, limited-run custom variants and, most recently, vehicles.

Today I'm going to be looking at the reissued figures from that first wave of toys, the Founder Series.

REVIEW: Marvel's Greatest Battles Comic Pack: Cyclops and Dark Phoenix

Hasbro continue to expand the Marvel Universe line with their latest release, the Marvel's Greatest Battles Comic Pack (phew!)  Like the previous Secret Wars double-packs, the Greatest Battles releases feature two figures and a suitable comicbook reprint, presumably to fill-in the story of the figure set (or maybe get non-readers hooked on the comicbooks.)

Today I'm taking a look at the Cyclops and Dark Phoenix double-pack.

NEWS: Sneak Peek at the New Glyos Joint System

Changes are afoot over at Onell Design.

Matt and his fellow Glyos-ians have announced a new joint system and provided some nice close-ups of the upcoming modifications in action.  As you can see the new system grants a much higher level of poseability and mobility to the figures, whilst retaining the same chunky feel and aesthetics of the Glyos line.

No details yet on when we'll be able to get our hands on them, but keep checking Onell Design for more updates!

NEWS: Upcoming Marvel Universe Figures

There's a rather nice video on Marvel's website in which former TNA star (and self-confessed Marvel geek) Christopher Daniels takes a look at some of the upcoming figures in the Marvel Universe 3.75'' line.

What's interesting is that if you look closely you'll see three figures that have yet to be officially announced - Captain Marvel, Spider-woman (Jessica Drew version) and ''Doc'' Sampson can all be seen in the line-up.

It's nice to see Marvel expanding the line beyond Fire-Attack Emergency Iron Man and Ultra-Aquatic Spider-man and introducing some more obscure characters into the mix.

As of yet, there's no release date or even confirmation of these figures but let's hope they'll be arriving soon!

EDIT: Although no date has been given, these figures are now listed on Wikipedia as being part of the ''Spring 2011'' wave along with World War Hulk (which can also be seen here, extreme left), Spider-man 2099 and Iron Man Bleeding Edge figures.
