NEWS: Upcoming Glyos Drop ''The Middle of This Month''

News over at the Glyos Transmission Web Log of a new drop coming in the middle of February.

In a quick update, Matt showed-off a couple of shots of this stunning blue Exellis, which he says matches pretty closely to the Cosmic Wave Pheyden released some years ago, plus the clear blue pieces from the Four Horsemen's Outer Space Men Phase series.

The Exellis here is shown sporting the matching blue Axis Joints, which will also be part of the drop.

No word yet on other pieces or dates, so stay tuned!

NEWS: New Glyos Wave ''Coming Thursday''

Matt Doughty of Onell Design has released more details - along with some stunning pictures - of the new wave of Glyos figures.

According to Matt's post on the Glyos Transmission Web Log, Onell Design are ''on track for a Thursday launch this week.''  No details of a time are available yet but if past experience is anything to go by, I'd anticipate a drop-time somewhere between 8 and 9 PM EST (that's GMT -5 for non-US visitors!)

Although this is a full production run of figures (so numbers should be plentiful) it's worth noting that this is also the first wave to include the amazing new Axis Joints and that demand for them - and the glow-in-the-dark and clear figures also in this release - will be high, so don't dally when it comes to getting your orders in.

We'll update you as and when we have any news but in the meantime, why not prime yourself with the latest chapter of the Gendrone Chronicles?

UPDATE: Matt has confirmed the drop for tomorrow, at 10PM EST.  Hit the link for full details of what's in store.

REVIEW: Onell Design's Glyos Buildman Gendrone

Onell Design are the producers of Glyos, a range of toys designed to be collected, played with and modified.  Customisation is at the core of the line's philosophy, whether it's from extensive repaints and remodels to simply assembling the figures as you see fit.  And the Buildman Gendrone is a perfect example of this concept in action.

I've previously looked at Pheyden and the Founder Series, plus the special edition Solaris Echo Morph.  Today I'm taking a look at my latest purchase, the Buildman Gendrone.

REVIEW: Glyos Solaris Echo Morph

My army of Glyos figures continues to grow with the addition of the subject of today's review - the Solaris Echo Morph.

Although carrying a slightly higher price tag than the usual $4 to $8 range (Solaris Echo Morph retails for $15) and now no longer available through Onell Design (the toy recently sold-out), he's still a figure worth tracking down if you can find him.

Why?  Well read on and find what surprises this figure packs...

REVIEW: Onell Design's Glyos Founder Series

The Glyos System is a range of 2.75 inch figures available exclusively online from their designers/creators/producers, Onell Design.

Onell Design has been producing and selling Glyos figures from their official site since 2007 and over the last three years the line has grown to include new characters, limited-run custom variants and, most recently, vehicles.

Today I'm going to be looking at the reissued figures from that first wave of toys, the Founder Series.
