Entertainment Tonight is the place to be... erm, tonight... for fans of the Real American Hero, as they'll be bringing us the first scenes from the new movie, GI Joe: Retaliation.

This is an oddity...

The Facebook GI Joe Movie UK page announced moments ago that they'd be bringing us our first-look at the GI Joe 2: Retaliation trailer on Monday at 4:30 PM - in a post that's promptly vanished.

Did they accidentally let slip the air-date for the new trailer and then have to cover it up?

We'll find out Monday...

UPDATE: The page is now showing a date and time of Tuesday at 12:30AM (Monday 7:30PM EST).

Yesterday saw Hasbro holding its annual Investor Day presentation, during which the first footage from the upcoming toy-to-movie adaptation GI Joe: Retaliation was screened.

Entertainment Tonight ran a piece last night featuring an interview with Dwayne ''The Rock'' Johnson on the set of the upcoming GI Joe 2: Retaliation (which, from the piece and the on-screen graphic appears to be the confirmed title.) Although in true ET style the ''article'' seems more concerned with Justin Bieber and the ''reporter'' being flustered by Dwayne Johnson's flirting, we do at least get to see about eight seconds of behind-the-scenes filming. And here's hoping that ''boat'' makes it into the tie-in toy line.

Jon M. Chu - director of the upcoming GI Joe 2: Retaliation - posted a Tweet late last night that has fans of the Real American Hero jumping for joy:

Wanna get an EXCLUSIVE first look of GI JOE: Retaliation?! Watch Entertainment Tonight tomorrow! Tell ur friends!

Just to clarify, the Tweet was posted last night, so the ''tomorrow'' Chu is referring to is in fact today, Tuesday November 1st.

Entertainment Tonight airs at 7:30 PM EST on CBS.

NEWS: More Roadblock

After the shot we brought you earlier today of Dwayne ''The Rock'' Johnson on the set of GI Joe 2, here's another image the actor just Tweeted, showing him relaxing during filming and which gives us a slightly better-lit look at his Roadblock costume.

GI Joe 2 is scheduled for a Summer 2012 release.
