Here's our round-up of the last seven days at That Figures.
After a ridiculously-long dry spell (thanks Hasbro's shonky distribution) we finally had something new to Review in the form of the GI Joe 30th Anniversary Hazard-Viper (flawed but strangely cool) and, from the Thor tie-in line, Fire Blast Marvel's Destroyer (limited articulation but it looks good.) We also looked at the latest Series in the awesome Gogo's Crazy Bones line.
In a perfect example of Cosmic Balance, Matty Collector announced their very cool October release line-up whilst also informing us that the Ghostbusters Collectors' Club, Club Ecto-1 was to be cancelled. Hasbro meanwhile seem to be getting their distribution in order, with a sighting of the new Spider-Man/Captain Britain double-pack, the ''original original'' Ms Marvel figure being spotted by yours truly and Series 3 Wave 4 landing at retail.
Diamond Select Toys unveiled the upcoming 10th Anniversary Halo Minimatets four-pack and the very cool Heralds of Galactus four-figure set (including the big guy himself.) We also saw two very cool projects from Sideshow Collectibles in the form of their Tron Legacy Rinzler statue and Skaar, Son of Hulk.
From the Indie toy scene we saw a very cool gallery of images from the Brain Evolution show at Toy Art Gallery, details of the Grody Shogun's Ensorcelled Man Pre-Order and we took our first look at TazX's League of Anti-Heroes.
In entertainment News, we learned that the UK air date of Sherlock Season Two has been delayed until next year and we saw the first trailer for The Sarah Jane Adventures' Series 5. Milla Jovovich talked Resident Evil 5, we saw the [REC]3 Trailer, learned that the ending to The Dark Knight Rises is the most secret secret-thing ever made secret and the first clip of Batman: Year One left us wanting more - which we're to get in the form of the bundled DC Showcase: Catwoman short. It was also a big week for GI Joe 2 movie news, with Marlon Wayans talking about Ripcord and rumours of Cobra Commander's return.
Finally, we celebrated the first year of That Figures. A big thank you to everybody who's supported us over the last 12 months - we really appreciate it!
