NEWS: Topless Robot Reviews Wonder Woman Pilot
Although it seemed yet another example of TV execs not giving a crap about genre TV, NBC's decision not to pick up the Wonder Woman TV show following the pilot may have actually been a Good Thing - if the FAQ at Topless Robot is anything to go by.
Head over there now then give thanks to the Universe that this embarrassment was stopped dead in its tracks.

NEWS: Wonder Woman Final Costume Shot
So the Wonder Woman TV show didn't make it past the pilot. Some said it was due to a poor script, others due to the general mistrust TV execs have for genre TV. And some blamed the costume for not looking like the original.
Until the pilot airs (if it ever does) or we develop telepathy, we'll never be able to comment on the first two reasons. We can however, at least now look at the final, as-promised shorts-n-all costume.

NEWS: Wonder Woman Officially Not Being Picked Up by NBC
We reported yesterday - in an update that's subsequently vanished thanks to Blogger's issues - that there was some uncertainty over whether NBC had picked-up the re-imagined Wonder Woman for a full Season. We can now confirm that NBC has passed on the show. This comes on the back of NBC canceling all of its genre TV, Fox not renewing Human Target and ABC shelving V and No Ordinary Family.

NEWS (Of An Utterly Trivial Nature): Wonder Woman TV Pilot Costume WILL Feature Shorts!
Wonder Woman fans can stop getting upset over the inaccuracies of the costume worn by Adrianne Palicki.
NBC President Robert Greenblatt has taken time-out from his usual business to assure fans that the long-panted costume - as seen above - undergoes some changes during the course of the Pilot, stating ''shorts were always planned. They are actually used in the final confrontation when she [insert massive spoiler here.]'' (Yes, really.)
So there you have it. Although you will have to wait, you can rest assured that you will indeed get to see Adrianne Palicki in a skimpy outfit Wonder Woman in her comicbook-accurate costume when the pilot airs later this year.
Thanks to Alexis ''Argonaut X'' Dyer for the tip.
