VIDEO VIEW: Wrath Of The Titans Trailer
The original Clash Of The Titans was a fun, campy adventure flick with some superb stop-motion effects, a great Classic mythology plot and some superbly memorable creatures. Then the remake came along and attempted to make it more ''gritty'' by giving us Suicide Bombers, cynical ''heroes'' and a boatload of crap CGI.
Anyway, it's spawned a sequel in the form of Wrath Of The Titans, which hopefully this time around will be a movie in its own right, rather than the disrespectful ''remake'' we saw first time around...

NEWS: Hasbro's Ultimate Gift Sets Spotted At Retail
I spotted the Marvel Universe Ultimate Gift Set over the weekend but wasn't able to snap any pics of it. Thankfully, Phillip at Battlegrip managed to snag not just the Marvel Universe set but also the Transformers and Star Wars packs.
As I don't collect either, I'm not really in much of a position to comment on those packs but the Marvel Universe set is a pretty good deal - providing you don't have any (or in my case all) of the included figures. It is worth noting though that each of the five characters included - Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, Thor and Wolverine - comes with exclusive accessories or colourways (even if in Thor's case this means painting his vest to create a peek-a-book split-side tunic.) That's not enough incentive for me but I'm sure there are obsessive variant collectors out there who'll be happy to see these additions.

A couple of days ago, Big Bad Toy Store added a line of figures from Mattel's Reign of Superman range to their inventory. Now - as reported by The ToyArk - the online store has removed the listing. Upon further investigation it appears Mattel has cancelled the proposed line, news that comes on the tails of their announcement to scale-back production of the Masters Of The Universe Classics line.
Although I personally had no plans to pick-up these figures and I don't collect the Masters Of The Universe Classics figures, it's still worrying to see the world's largest toy manufacturer scaling-down their production numbers.

Although we don't tend to cover horror flicks that often here at That Figures, The Cabin In The Woods has a little more genre credit than your average scary flick. Iit's being produced by Joss Whedon, it stars a pre-Thor Chris Hemsworth and it's written by Cloverfield scribe Drew Goddard.
Stick with it beyond the initial - and rather tired - opening sequence. There appears to be more going on here than meets the eye.
The Cabin In The Woods is set for an April 2012 release.

As fans of the Marvel Universe line may know, Hasbro frequently re-issues some of its earlier figures along with its newer releases. And occasionally - such as with the Ms Marvel or Warpath revisions - these new figures will feature some minor re-tooling, new paintwork or even new body parts.
Such is the case with Electro, the latest figure to get the running change treatment. The ''new'' Electro - unlike the original - now features semi-transparent limbs, as you can see in the above image and in this gallery from Cool Toy Review.

REVIEW: GI Joe Pursuit of Cobra Jungle Assault Sting Raider (TRU Exclusive)
